Tae H. Kim is a Maryland trial attorney representing individuals, families, professionals, and businesses in consequential legal matters. Admitted to the Maryland Bar in December 1999, his practice includes criminal defense, family law, personal injury, and civil litigation.
Mr. Kim earned his undergraduate education at West Virginia University before attending the University of Baltimore School of Law, where he graduated cum laude. Since entering practice, he has developed extensive courtroom experience representing clients in Maryland state courts as well as federal matters.
In addition to the Maryland state courts, Mr. Kim is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
Mr. Kim regularly practices in Howard County, Anne Arundel County, Frederick County, and Baltimore County, appearing across these jurisdictions numerous times each week. That active courtroom practice gives him ongoing familiarity with the courts, procedures, and practical considerations involved in matters throughout the regions served by Kim & Grillo.
His approach begins with understanding what is actually at stake for the client. A legal matter may affect a client's freedom, family, career, finances, reputation, or business. Mr. Kim works to identify those concerns early, explain the available options, and prepare a strategy suited to the circumstances of each matter.
Mr. Kim also serves on the faculty of Criminal Law University. He speaks English and Korean fluently and has professional proficiency in Spanish.
